The second robber, who injured in an alleged police encounter succumbed to his injuries while being taken to Nawabshah Hospital today.
According to the police, Shafiq alias Shafu Rajper’s body was handed over to his family after necessary formalities following the encounter within the jurisdiction of Padidan police station.
It is to be noted that this incident occurred near Tail Shakh the previous day, where an encounter took place between the police and the robbers who were allegedly fleeing after committing a robbery. In this encounter, robber Gulzar Rajper, son of Mithal Rajper, was killed on the spot, while Shafiq alias Shafu Rajper was injured.
The police have expressed their determination to continue action against the robbers. Further investigations are underway to prevent such incidents.
