Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Security forces have carried out three targeted operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, resulting in the deaths of thirty Khwarij militants. These operations were part of the ongoing efforts to curb militant activities in the region.



According to a statement by Inter Services Public Relations, the first operation took place in Lakki Marwat District, where security forces acted on intelligence reports regarding the presence of Khwarij militants. The operation led to the death of eighteen militants, while six others were injured.



In a separate operation in Karak District, security forces engaged and killed eight Khwarij militants. This action was also based on intelligence information, underscoring the focus on dismantling militant networks.



The third encounter occurred in the general area of Bagh, in Khyber District, where security forces killed four Khwarij militants. Among those killed were two key figures, Aziz-ur-Rehman, also known as Qari Ismail, and Mukhlis. In this encounter, two militants were injured.



Weapons and ammunition were recovered during these operations, with the militants reportedly involved in numerous terrorist activities against security forces and civilians.



Sanitization efforts are ongoing as security forces continue their mission to eliminate remaining threats in the area, reaffirming their commitment to eradicating terrorism in Pakistan.
