A traffic accident near Goth Jam Noorullah on the National Highway resulted in the death of SEPCO employee Zulfiqar Nangor on Tuesday, while his colleague Yousuf Sehto was injured. The accident occurred when a speeding motorcycle collided with a tractor trolley.
According to Kandiaro police, Zulfiqar Nangor, an employee of Mehrabpur SEPCO and line superintendent of the Halani feeder, died on the spot. His colleague, Yousuf Sehto, was severely injured and transferred to Nawabshah Hospital after receiving initial medical aid.
Upon receiving news of the accident, SEPCO Hydro Union Chairman Shahid Samoon, Executive Engineer Naushahro Feroze Shahid Shah, and SDO SEPCO Kandiaro Farooq Kaburo arrived at the hospital.
According to SEPCO sources, both employees were on their way to the Kandiaro Grid Station for work when the accident happened. The body of the deceased employee has been handed over to the family after necessary formalities.
