Serene Air increases staff salaries

LAHORE:  Serene Air management on Saturday announced an increase in salaries of employees to mark the fifth anniversary of the airline launching.

 

The private airline announced an increase of 44 percent in the salaries of those employees who earn up to Rs30,000 whereas salaries of a number of employees who earn more than Rs30,000 have been increased by 15 to 25 percent, the management said. Air Vice Marshal (r) Muhammad Safdar Malik, Chief Executive Officer (CEO), said that the aerospace industry was immensely affected by the coronavirus pandemic.

 

The CEO said that according to the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan, the airline is playing its full role to promote tourism and facilitate the passengers with convenient services. It is pertinent to mention that a few days back the Prime Minister had appealed to the business community to increase the salaries of their employees.
