QUETTA: Seven members of a gang involved in kidnapping children for ransom have been apprehended by CIA Balochistan in an operation conducted in Quetta. Arms, ammunition and millions of rupees were also recovered from the possession of alleged accused.
It was informed by Fida Hussain Shah, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Quetta while addressing a press conference at Shaheed Hamid Shakeel Multi Purpose Hall, Police Line Headquarters, Gulistan Road, Quetta Cantt here on Friday.
He said that seven alleged members of gang, wanted to police in four cases of kidnapping children for ransom, were arrested by CIA Balochistan in an operation conducted in Quetta, adding that arms, ammunition and millions of rupees were also recovered from the possession of alleged accused during the operation.
