The Pakistan Shaheens cricket team has started preparations for the Top End T20 Series in Australia.
Eight members of the 15-player squad began training at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore. Head coach Ghulam Ali oversaw the initial practice, which included captain Muhammad Irfan Khan, Abdul Samad, Ahmed Daniyal, Khawaja Mohammad Nafay, Muhammad Ghazi Ghori, Saad Masood, Mohammad Salman Mirza, and Yasir Khan.
Seven other team members are presently with the Shaheens in England and are expected to join the preparatory camp on August 7th.
The five-day camp involves practice sessions and simulated match scenarios. The Pakistan Shaheens will compete in the 11-team Top End T20 tournament in Darwin from August 14th to 24th.
