Sindh Governor Alleges Indian PM Foments Instability as Pakistan-Bangladesh Air Link Restarts

Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori today accused Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi of being responsible for instability in both Pakistan and Bangladesh, alleging that conspiracies aimed at distancing the two nations have now failed. The governor”s remarks came as he hailed the restoration of direct air connectivity between Pakistan and Bangladesh after a 14-year hiatus.

Attending a ceremony to mark the resumption of flights as Chief Guest, Governor Tessori termed the move a “positive and historic development.” He said the re-established air link would open new avenues for trade, economic cooperation, and people-to-people contact, significantly boosting bilateral commerce and strengthening mutual relations.

Speaking to the media after cutting a cake alongside the Deputy High Commissioner of Bangladesh, the governor asserted that Pakistan and Bangladesh were once again moving closer to each other. He emphasised that both nations would jointly counter what he described as “Indian conspiracies and aggression.”

Mr Tessori further stated that nations gain strength and dignity not through statements alone but by “winning real battles under strong leadership,” referencing the leadership of Field Marshal Hafiz Asim Munir.

Later, the Sindh Governor warmly received passengers arriving on the inaugural direct flight from Dhaka. He presented them with bouquets and welcomed them on their arrival in Pakistan, according to a dispatch from the Sindh Governor House.
