Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori met with the Ambassador of the Philippines, Emmanuel R. Fernandez, and held a detailed discussion on the promotion of investment, trade, IT, and digitalization.
In the discussion held on Monday between Governor Sindh Kamran Khan Tessori and Philippine Ambassador Emmanuel R. Fernandez, detailed deliberations took place on investment, trade promotion, strengthening the IT industry, and accelerating the digitalization process. The possibility of increasing joint ventures between the two countries was a central theme.
Governor Tessori emphasized that digital transformation and artificial intelligence are playing a key role in enhancing future economic and educational opportunities. He said that the partnership between the two countries can lead to innovation and open new avenues in the technology sector.
Ambassador Fernandez praised the welfare initiatives launched by the Governor of Sindh, especially the provision of free modern IT courses, stating that such measures guarantee a bright future for the youth. After the meeting, the Ambassador visited the IT marquee, where 50,000 young people are currently receiving this education.
The Philippine diplomat also described the “Bell of Hope” initiative as a unique and effective means of public welfare, and said that the access of ordinary citizens to government residences helps in the immediate resolution of problems. He later penned his impressions in the guest book.
Honorary Consul General Dr. Muhammad Imran Yousuf was also present on the occasion.
