Sindh Governor Syed Muhammad Nehal Hashmi said on Sunday that hope remained the cornerstone of a brighter future, national progress and individual success, urging unity and resilience as Pakistan confronts ongoing challenges.
In a message issued to mark the International Day of Hope, the governor said the country’s current difficulties could be overcome through determination, courage and an enduring sense of hope. He stressed that fostering optimism, self-confidence and positive thinking among young people was essential to achieving sustainable national development and long-term prosperity.
Hashmi said building a strong, peaceful and prosperous Pakistan required collective efforts, national cohesion, mutual respect and a shared commitment to progress.
He added that the International Day of Hope offered an opportunity to reaffirm support for humanity, peace, tolerance and sustainable development, describing these values as vital to securing a better future for coming generations.
