KARACHI: Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori today visited Mazar-e-Quaid to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, on his 148th birth anniversary.

According to a statement issued from the Sindh Governor House, during his visit, the governor laid a floral wreath at the mazar, offered Fateha, and prayed for the progress and prosperity of the nation.

In the visitors’ book, Mr Tessori expressed his commitment to following Quaid-e-Azam’s teachings and congratulated the nation on the leader’s birth anniversary. He emphasized that adhering to Quaid-e-Azam’s principles is the key to Pakistan’s progress.

Speaking to the media, the Sindh governorsaid, “I am here to honor Quaid-e-Azam’s unparalleled contributions to the nation. Pakistan is currently facing challenges, but the nation must not lose hope. With unity and determination, Pakistan will achieve development and prosperity.”

He praised the consistent growth of the stock exchange and welcomed the cooperation extended by countries like Iran and Türkiye. He also highlighted the efforts of Pakistan’s armed forces, which are not only safeguarding the borders but also playing a significant role in economic stability.

The governor commended the initiatives of the Prime Minister and the Army Chief, particularly the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC), for leading the country toward development.

Addressing a question about Parachinar, he assured that collaborative efforts would lead to a resolution of the ongoing issues. He assured the nation, “Together, we will continue Quaid-e-Azam’s mission and build a strong and prosperous Pakistan.”
