A sales officer of a spice company, Mumtaz Memon, was deprived of a large amount of cash and personal belongings at gunpoint by two armed men on a motorcycle near a drainage culvert in the Gajo area today.

According to the victim’s statement, the suspects followed him before stopping his vehicle at the culvert.

The assailants looted Rs. 150,000 in cash, a mobile phone, and the contents of his wallet.

Other stolen items included the sales officer’s identity card and his ATM card.

The armed men fled the scene immediately after the robbery.
