Sardar Abdul Rahim, Secretary-General of the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F) Sindh, has said that we must struggle for the philosophy of a united Sindh and a strong Pakistan. He warned on Monday that anti-state elements are conspiring to advance their political agendas in the name of minorities, which he described as potentially detrimental to the country.
Addressing a meeting of the Muslim League (F) Minority Wing at Functional League House, Rahim emphasized that all minority communities in Pakistan have constitutional and legal protection, but it is necessary to ensure their complete safety.
The meeting, chaired by Rahim, focused on the philosophy of “United Sindh and Strong Pakistan,” appealing to all minority groups in the province to work together. He discussed in detail the protection of fundamental rights, the provision of facilities, and the resolution of issues faced by non-majority communities.
During the meeting, participants from various districts presented their views on challenges related to employment, education, and other basic facilities. Sardar Abdul Rahim expressed his commitment to strengthening the organization of the minority wing to empower these communities politically, socially, and economically.
Another speaker at the event, Arman Fayaz, said that Pir Sahab Pagara has always struggled for the protection of minorities’ rights and his message should be conveyed to every household.
Other notable participants who addressed the gathering included Jamshed Khan, Naeem Sajjad, Ashraf Emmanuel Sahotra, Samson Khokhar, and Baba Guru Goswami. A large number of other leaders also attended the meeting.
The event concluded with Sardar Abdul Rahim issuing official notifications to the organization’s office-bearers, assigning them new responsibilities while urging them to further strengthen the wing.
