ISLAMABAD:Study on the existing income tax regime for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) will be launched here tomorrow (Thursday).

The study sheds light on the challenges faced by SMEs and delves deep into the intricacies of the income tax system. The study will analyse its implications, growth, competiveness and reforms compliance in the SMEs.

Federal Minister for Industries and Production, Syed Murtaza Mahmud, representatives of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) and Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (SMEDA), and president Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry would be the key speakers. The participants from the business community, FBR and banks will attend the event.
