Successful operation of Sindh Excise Department. 46 kg charas recovered. An accused arrested: Provincial Minister Mukesh Kumar Chawla congrats 

Karachi, February 13, 2020 (PPI-OT): During the ongoing operation against drug dealers under the direction of the Minister of Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control and Parliamentary Affairs, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Kandiaro Excise Police, under the supervision of Excise Inspector Imtiaz Ali Makhdoom, conducted at a check post at Kandiaro Rasoolabad. During a search of truck number TK-883, 46 kilograms of charas was recovered from its secret boxes and the accused Qadir Shah has been arrested. The accused is said to be a resident of Quetta. A case has been registered against the accused and an investigation has been launched.

 

Over the successful action, the Minister for Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control and Parliamentary Affairs, Mukesh Kumar Chawla, Secretary, Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Control Abdul Haleem Sheikh, and Director General Excise and Taxation and Narcotics Shoaib Ahmed Siddiqui have congratulated Kandiro Excise Police and expressed their hope that they will continue to nab drug dealers in the future. Mukesh Kumar Chawla added that all stakeholders in the society have to work together to discourage the nefarious practice of drug trafficking.
