(Govt): Kamal pledges promoting sports

Quetta:Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan accompanied by Advisor to Chief Minister for Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Abdul Khaliq Hazara and Secretary Sports Department, Imran Gichki visited Shutukan Karate Academy Hazara Town, said a statement issued here on Sunday.

Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan said that measures are being adopted at governmental level to promote sports in the province. He added sports activities carry immense importance in healthy society.

(Govt): Approval of CM

Quetta:Approval of the Chief Minister Balochistan will be mandatory prior to making appointment against vacant positions from BPS-1 to BPS-15 or cancellation of advertised vacancies, according to a notification issued by Services and General Administration Department.

(National): Tax figures of Balochistan lawmakers

Quetta:Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has published Tax Directory for the year 2018-19 on Sunday containing information of tax filers including elected representative of Balochistan Provincial Assembly.

According to data issued by FBR, among the Chief Ministers, Jam Kamal Khan, Chief Minister Balochistan has paid the highest tax of rupees 48 Lac, 8 Thousand and 948.

Meanwhile, among the lowest tax payers, Sardar Yar Muhammad Rind, Provincial Minister for Colleges, Higher, Technical and Secondary Education Department paid the lowest tax of rupees 400 only.

Among the highest tax payers members of Balochistan Provincial Assembly, Mir Akbar Askani has paid the highest tax of rupees 01 crore, 18 Lac, 63 thousand and 470. Data of FBR shows that 14 Provincial Ministers and members of Assembly did not pay taxes.

Among those members of Balochistan Provincial Assembly who did not pay tax included Mir Saleem Khosa, Molvi Noorullah, Haji Noor Muhammad Dumar, Nawabzada Guhram Bughti, Abdul Wahid Siddique, Late Syed Muhammad Fazal Agha, Muhammad Mubeen Khan Khilji, Akhtar Hussain Langove, Mir Arif Muhammad Hasni, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri, Asadullah Baloch, Majabeen Sheeran, Mastura Bibi, and Tites Johnson.

(National): Tracking system for vehicles in Balochistan

Quetta:Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan has issued directives for installation of tracking system in all official vehicles throughout Balochistan.

Following the directives of Chief Minister Balochistan, Chief Secretary Balochistan, Captain (retd) Fazeel Asghar has directed all Administrative Secretaries and Divisional Commissioners of the province for submission of report.

(National): Trade terminal on Pak-Afghan border inaugurated

Quetta: Chief Minister Balochistan said that we will have to accept that we all are responsible for the backwardness of the province. Owing to flawed development policies of the past and deficiency of effective planning, Balochistan could not cross the ladder of progress. If resources were properly utilized, the condition of the province would have been different.

These views were expressed by him while addressing a function held in connection with inaugurating the “Trade Terminal” at Pak-Afghan border Badini on Wednesday. Commander Southern Command Lt: General Muhammad Waseem, Provincial Ministers Mir Ziaullah Langove, Mitha Khan Kakar, MPA Molvi Noorullah, Inspector General Frontier Corps Major General Fayyaz Hussain Shah and others were also present on the occasion.

Interest of the people will have to be taken into consideration while making decisions and such decisions were to be made so as to rectify the past mistakes, said Jam Kamal Khan, adding that the incumbent provincial government was devising a comprehensive policy for promotion of economic activities in the province. Several development projects had been reflected in the PSDP for the current fiscal year, the completion of which would provide job opportunities to people and the people would observe positive change.

(Govt): CM Kamal inspects uplift schemes

Quetta:Chief Minister Balochistan, Jam Kamal Khan inspected ongoing development schemes being executed under Quetta Development Package and Sariab Development Package on Monday.

Chief Minister Balochistan also inspected construction work of a Cancer Hospital at Sheikh Zaid Hospital.

Minister for Livestock Mitha Khan Kakar, Advisor to Chief Minister for Sports and Culture, Abdul Khaliq Hazara, leader of Balochistan Awami Party, Agha Umer Ahmedzai, Mir Usman Pirkani, Mir Noorullah Lehri, Secretary Communication and Works Department, Noor-ul-Amin Mengal, Secretary, Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Imran Gichki were also present.

Speaking on the occasion, Jam Kamal Khan said that completion of development projects under Quetta Development Package and Sariab Development Package would provide the foundation for the improvement and beautification of Quetta city.
