NCOC: (73 more people died of Coronavirus in country during last 24 hours)

ISLAMABAD:As many as 73 more people died of Coronavirus in the country during the last twenty-four hours.

 

According to latest statistics provided by National Command and Operation Center (NCOC) Islamabad, 2,459 people tested positive during this period.

 

The figure of active Covid cases in the country is 48,008, whereas total number of people died of the virus so far is 8,905.

NCOC: (58 more deaths, 3,308 new cases of Covid-19 reported during last 24 hours)

ISLAMABAD:As the second wave of Coronavirus sustains its rise in Pakistan, 58 more deaths and 3,308 new cases were reported during the last 24 hours.

 

According to the latest statistics of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the death toll has now reached 8,361 and 355,000 patients stand recovered from the pandemic in the country.

 

There are now 53,126 active cases of virus infection and positive results ratio is about 7 point 94 percent.

Minister: (Holding gatherings despite rising Coronavirus manifests Opposition’s irresponsible conduct: Shibli)

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has said the opposition’s stubbornness to hold public gatherings despite rising Coronavirus cases manifests its non-democratic and irresponsible conduct.

 

In a tweet on Saturday, he said the opposition is bent upon demonstrating irresponsibility. He said there is no legal and moral justification to hold public meetings after the court and government orders against it.

 

He said putting people’s life in danger for vested interests is the extreme level of selfishness. He said FIR will be registered against opposition leaders and organizers of the Peshawar public meeting if Coronavirus cases rise in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

NCOC: (1650 new cases of Coronavirus surfaced over last 24 hours)

ISLAMABAD:As many as 1650 new cases of Coronavirus surfaced in the country over the last twenty-four hours after the tests of 33340.

 

According to the latest statistics of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), nine more people died of virus during the last twenty-four hours.

 

The figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 318,881. There are now 18,981 active cases in the country.

NCOC: (661 new cases of coronavirus surfaced in the country over last 24 hours)

ISLAMABAD:As many as 661 new cases of coronavirus surfaced in the country after the tests of 33,898 over the last twenty-four hours.

According to the latest statistics of National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC), the contagion claimed lives of eight more people during the last twenty-four hours.

The figure of patients recovered from the virus has reached 302, 708. There are now 8, 335 active cases in the country.

Two lady doctors tested positive for Coronavirus at ASH

KARACHI:Two lady doctors working in Radiology Department of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) have been tested Coronavirus positive here on Tuesday.

Both doctors posted in Radiology Department have after testing positive for Coronavirus are quarantined at their homes. Other doctors and staff of the department have been instructed for screening and self-quarantine. The hospital administration has closed the department after two COVID-19 cases. The department will be opened after anti-corona spray.

Director, ASH, Dr Salma Kauser, while talking to PPI, confirmed that two lady doctors working in radiology department have contracted Corona and they were quarantined at their homes. She informed that fumigation has already conducted in the department and it will open for patients on Wednesday (today).
