Minister: (PTI Govt taking hard decisions to bring institutional reforms: Shibli)

ISLAMABAD:Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Shibli Faraz has said the PTI government is taking hard decisions to bring reforms in the national institutions for achieving better performance.

Talking to a private television channel, he criticized the opposition parties for damaging the image of national institutions. Shibli Faraz said the government is taking all possible steps to restore image and efficiency of the institutions through reform programs.

He said PPP and PML-N ruled the country for three decades but no proper attention was paid to improve the performance of PIA, Pakistan Steel Mills and other organizations.

Commenting on PIA plane flying to Malaysian capital, he said grounding plane at the airport was a strange matter. However, he said the Pakistan Embassy and a team of PIA are engaged in collecting the details. The Minister said in next two days, we would be able to disclose the details after inquiry.

Minister: (National economy is now on positive trajectory due to prudent policies of Govt: Shibli)

ISLAMABAD:Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Senator Shibli Faraz has said national economy is now on positive trajectory due to prudent policies of the government and economic indicators will further improve in coming days.

 

Talking to a private news channel, he said Pakistan is moving on the right path and despite COVID-19 challenge, Current Account deficit is surplus.

 

The Information Minister said the PTI government has not obstructed the political activities of the oppositions, however it would not more tolerate blaming the institutions.

 

He said that the government believes in a political engagement but there would be no compromise for personal gain.

Minister: (Opposition parties trying to create unrest in country: Shibli)

ISLAMABAD:Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Shibli Faraz has said

(PDM) is trying to create unrest and uncertainty in the country, by holding public meetings and issuing anti-state statements.

 

Talking to a private news channel, he said the PDM leadership did not condemn or even contradict the recent statement of Ayaz Sadiq rather they are supporting his stance.

 

Criticizing Ayaz Sadiq’s statement, the Information Minister said he basically defined the narrative of India against Pakistan.

Minister: (Info Minister expresses grief over loss due to earthquake in Turkey)

ISLAMABAD:Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Senator Shibli Faraz has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the loss of precious lives due to earthquake in Turkey.

 

In a statement on Saturday, he said Pakistan equally shares the grief of Turkish brothers and sisters in this hour of trial. He commiserated with the bereaved families and prayed for early recovery of the injured in the earthquake.

Minister: (Info Minister lauds role of Tiger Force to control inflation)

ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Shibli Faraz has said the government is working efficiently to ensure good governance, rule of law and to improve the living standard of common man.

Talking to a private news channel, he said Prime Minister Imran Khan and his team is taking all-possible measures to reduce the inflation in order to alleviate poverty in the country.

He lauded the role of Tiger Force, working along with different administrators, to control the inflation.

Minister: (Pakistan to come out of FATF grey list soon: Info Minister)

Islamabad:Minister for Information and Broadcasting Senator Shibli Faraz has expressed the confidence that Pakistan will come out of Financial Action Task Force (FATF) grey list.

In a tweet on Thursday, he said those who are dreaming to push Pakistan in the blacklist will not succeed in their nefarious designs.

He said the legislation has been done in the national interest under the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan to thwart the sordid designs of the enemies. He said the opposition parties have once again resorted to negative posture contrary to the national interests.

Minister: (HEC Chairman briefs Information Minister about HEC)

Islamabad:Minister for Information and Broadcasting Shibli Faraz has said that the education is the foundation of any enlightened and civilized society and the government is working to upgrade the education sector of the country as per international standards.

Talking with Chairman Higher Education Commission (HEC) Tariq Banuri here on Monday, he said improvement in this sector is the top priority of Prime Minister Imran Khan. The Chairman HEC briefed the Minister about the working and performance of the Higher Education Commission in detail.
