Muhammad Qasim of Hanfia Ghousia Masjid-e-Suffah has won the title of the 41st Annual Naat Competition, achieving this success after a tough competition and a performance full of heartfelt devotion among student Naat reciters from across Sanghar district.
Organized by Anjuman Talaba-e-Islam Tando Adam, the annual event was held on Tuesday at Pathan Masjid Ghousia. It was attended by students from various madrasas and educational institutions from Tando Adam, Shahdadpur, and other areas, who gathered to pay tribute to the Prophet of Islam, Hazrat Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).
Abrar Ahmed of Jamia Millia High School, Tando Adam, secured the second position, while Noor Ahmed Memon of Academy Higher Secondary School, Shahdadpur, was awarded the third prize. The special prize for fourth position was given to Muhammad Murtaza of The Progenitor High School, Tando Adam, who missed the third position by just one point.
The Naat recitation was meticulously judged by a panel of judges from Shahdadpur and Karachi, while Muhammad Zubair Noorani served as the host for the evening.
Peoples Party leader and Director of Popular Group, Malik Zulfiqar Ali Roshan, attended the event as the chief guest. He, along with other distinguished guests including Malik Gulzar Hussain, Syed Muhammad Mansoor Akhtar, Hafiz Rashid, Syed Waseem Shah, and Syed Rehan Shah, distributed trophies and prizes among the successful participants.
As an encouragement, all students who participated in the competition were given individual prizes, regardless of their final ranking.
The program concluded with Salutations and Peace (Salat-o-Salam), after which the Khatib and Imam of Pathan Masjid Ghousia, Hafiz Ehsan, offered special prayers for the security of the country and the Muslim Ummah.
After the spiritual gathering, Langar (communal meal) was arranged for all attendees. Officials of the organizing body thanked the guests, judges, participants, and local citizens for their role in making the event a success.
