An incident involving the death of a teenage boy is under investigation in the jurisdiction of Lodra police station as of Monday. Initial reports indicate that Ghulam Mustafa Solangi, a 14-year-old, was found dead in his home in village Wada Mashi near Shikarpur. The incident is being treated as a suspected suicide.
According to family members, a gunshot was heard, leading them to discover Ghulam Mustafa Solangi deceased inside his residence. Area police noted that the teenager had a gunshot wound and a pistol was found at the scene. They emphasized that it is unclear whether the incident was a suicide or a possible murder, with all scenarios being explored.
A family member recounted, “We heard a sudden gunshot and when we rushed inside, we found the boy, Ghulam Mustafa Solangi, lying there.” Police officials verified the occurrence and mentioned that the cause of death is still undetermined. “A suspected pistol bullet was found. We are unsure if it is a suicide or if the teenager was killed. We are conducting further investigations to ascertain the facts,” a police spokesperson stated.
