A youth from Thatta has died of electrocution in a Karachi hospital. Dilawar, son of Yar Muhammad Mallah, resident of Khaddahi Mohalla, Thatta, was working with electric wires yesterday when he received a severe shock.
After suffering severe burns, he was initially taken to Civil Hospital Makli. Due to the severity of his condition, he was later shifted to a medical center in Karachi. He later succumbed to his injuries.
His body has been handed over to his family, who are in deep grief in Thatta.
