The State Bank of Pakistan will remain closed on 25th and 26th June 2026 on the occasion of Ashura
This decision is in accordance with the government’s announcement of public holidays on the 9th and 10th of Muharram 1448 Hijri, which marks the day of Ashura. As a result, the central bank and its branches will not operate across the country during these dates.
