Top Pakistani, Iranian Diplomats Stress Dialogue in High-Level Call

Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, and his Iranian counterpart, Abbas Araghchi, underscored the critical need for dialogue and diplomacy to address unfolding regional developments during a significant telephonic conversation.

According to a report by MOIB today, the high-level exchange between the two senior diplomats centred on the prevailing situation in the region, with both parties reviewing recent events.

During their discussion, the two foreign ministers stressed the paramount importance of utilising diplomatic channels to navigate complex regional issues.

In a move signalling a commitment to sustained communication, both officials reached a consensus on the necessity of maintaining close and continuous engagement between the two neighbouring nations.

The ministers further resolved to ensure robust coordination between their respective ministries on matters of mutual interest moving forward.
