Trade Deal – Pak-Saudi Defense Pact Hailed As Milestone By Egyptian FM

Egypt’s top diplomat today lauded the recently inked defense agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as a significant step towards bolstering their collaboration.

Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty conveyed his congratulations to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia during a phone call with Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar. He described the “Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement” as a crucial development in reinforcing partnership, confidence, and joint efforts between the two nations.

The two officials also discussed global and regional affairs, emphasizing the significance of economic advancement, stability, and harmony. They reiterated their dedication to collaborative international endeavors and anticipated meaningful discussions at the upcoming 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly.
