Tribute by Prime Minister to Security Institutions for Efforts towards Peace and Stability

Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has praised the commitment of national security institutions for establishing peace and stability across the country.

It was officially informed today that during a meeting with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore, the Prime Minister was briefed about comprehensive security measures taken for Eid-ul-Adha celebrations. Special attention has been given to ensuring the security of public places and the protection of citizens’ lives and property during the festivities.

The Interior Minister also informed the Prime Minister about the preparations for the elections to be held in Gilgit-Baltistan. The purpose of these arrangements is to ensure a peaceful, transparent, and organized electoral process, providing a safe environment for voters.

Prime Minister Sharif praised the dedication of security institutions for public safety. He commended the effective planning regarding the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly elections by the Interior Minister and his team.

In his remarks, the Prime Minister reiterated the commitment to support and facilitate the democratic process, highlighting the importance of taking all necessary steps to support free and fair elections.
