Two PTI marchers fall from Ravi bridge, container

LAHORE: Two workers of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) fell from the Ravi Bridge and a container separately near the Imamia Colony in Lahore when they tried to cross obstacles to reach Islamabad on Wednesday.

An unidentified PTI worker fell into the Ravi river from the Ravi bridge and no medical treatment has been provided to him and has not been shifted to the hospital as well. Illyas, another worker, fell from a container near Imamia Colony and shifted to the hospital for medical treatment. The worker hails from the Kahna area of Lahore.

The worker was near the Imamia Colony when the incident occurred. PTI workers despite the hurdles put up by the police, have continued their long march towards Islamabad where Imran Khan has called all ‘Pakistanis’ including PTI workers to reach to get what he called Haqiqi Azadi ‘real freedom’.
