Two suspects were arrested, one of whom was injured during the encounter, after an exchange of fire between law enforcement agencies and alleged robbers near Torani Goth on Tuesday.
Authorities have identified the arrested individuals as Kabir son of Karim, who was injured in the firing, and Salman son of Naseem.
Following the incident, personnel recovered a pistol with bullets, multiple snatched mobile phones, and a motorcycle from the possession of the two individuals.
The injured suspect has been moved to a hospital for immediate medical attention.
Officials at the Pakistan Bazar Police Station have confirmed that further investigation into the matter has been initiated.
