SHIKARPUR:Two villagers were killed in an armed clash that took place between Badani and Shar communities at village Beechangi within the jurisdiction of Chak Police Station on Thursday.

 

According to a report, the armed clash took place between the Badani and Shar communities. As a result of firing with automatic weapons, two persons identified as Ghulam Shabeer Shar and Nizamuddin Shar were killed on the spot.

 

The relatives of the deceased allegedly said that their enemy groups men belonging to Badani community suddenly attacked their village with rocket launchers and guns and gunned down their two innocent beloved Ghulam Shabeer Shar and Nizamuddin Shar when they were working in their agricultural land near to their houses.

 

The cause behind the clash was said to be an ongoing tribal clash between Shar and Badani communities. The bodies of killed villagers were lying there for hours at the place of incident due to heavy storm of firings from both the parties. The police shifted the bodies to Taluka Hospital Lakhi for medico-legal formalities. No FIR was registered till late evening.
