The body of an unidentified person was recovered from the Sohrab Goth graveyard on Wednesday, believed to be a drug addict, prompting a police investigation.
Authorities have estimated the deceased’s age to be between 40 and 45 years. His identity remains unknown pending further investigation.
The body was found within the premises of the Lasi Goth graveyard. The deceased has been moved to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for medico-legal procedures.
Officials at the Sohrab Goth police station have registered the incident and confirmed that a formal investigation has been launched to determine the circumstances of the death.
