DOKRI: Legs and hands of a villager Qurban Ali Chandio were fastened, and he was dragged from his home and beaten up in front of his family members allegedly by people of Gadahi community over a petty issue in Dokri’s agricultural farm area on Tuesday.

Chandio told newsmen at the CMCH that a wall of his home fell down during heavy rains five days ago and some members of Gadahi community were stealing his bricks, hence, he asked them not to take his bricks because he will again construct the wall after rains.
He further alleged that influential people of Gadahi community, including Liaquat Gadahi, Nabi Bux Gadahi and 20 others, forcibly entered his house, tied his hands and feet with ropes, tortured and dragged him to the police station which was barbaric act. The accused are claimed to be henchmen of an influential Sardar.
