In significant recognition of Pakistan’s progress in disaster management, the United Nations delegation led by Coordinator for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief, Tom Fletcher, praised the country for adopting a modern system to manage emergencies. The delegation visited the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) headquarters in Islamabad today, where they were received by NDMA Chairman Lieutenant General Inam Haider Malik.
