QUETTA: All Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Electric Workers Union, Balochistan demanded of the authorities to increase the salaries of government employees in the budget for the next fiscal year.
This demand was made in a protest demonstration held outside Quetta Press Club here on Thursday under the auspices of All Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Electric Workers Union. Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers said that skyrocketing inflation had added to the miseries of people and particularly government employees.
Condemning the anti-people economic policies of the government, they called on authorities to increase the salaries of government employees in in the budget for the next fiscal year in proportion to the inflation. Protest demonstration was addressed by Haji Ramzan Achakzai, President, All Pakistan WAPDA Hydro Electric Workers Union and others.
