ISLAMABAD: The World Bank (WB) President on Monday welcomed the government’s long term vision to ensure national resilience to climate inducted disasters.

According to a Radio Pakistan’s report, he was also appreciative of the fact that the first strategic objective of Pakistan’s reconstruction and rehabilitation framework relates to governance, institutional transparency and capacity aspects saying these will be essential to make the reconstruction journey a success. He said Pakistan can count on all us for support to implement these principles and help ensure a well-targeted, efficient and transparent reconstruction process.
