Karachi, November 25, 2020 (PPI-OT): Trade Development Authority of Pakistan in coordination with Commercial Section, Embassy of Pakistan Paris-France organized a webinar on export potential of dates to France on Tuesday, 24th November 2020. The objective of this webinar was to create awareness among Pakistani dates stakeholders and explore marketing opportunities to European dates market. Stakeholders of dates from Sindh, Baluchistan and KP along with the representatives of Sindh Enterprise Development Fund and Sindh Agriculture Growth Project attended the webinar.
The Trade and Investment Counsellor, Paris-France briefed about the European dates market and shared the way forward of market access and opportunities for Pakistani dates in France. The interactive sessions with Pakistani origin French importers Mr. Sardar Zahoor Iqbal and Mr. Saeed Sarwar Choudhry were also held. Mr. Abdul Karim Memon, D.G TDAP apprised the participants about TDAP initiatives for getting more market access for Pakistani dates and TDAP is soon launching the dates promotion campaign through various Pakistani trade missions abroad by sending date samples and through the series of such webinars.
