Well-known brand tried to capture the retrieved land of railways in Jumma Goth

KARACHI:A well-known clothing brand, from whose custody a ware house was retrieved by Karachi railways just five days ago, tried to capture the retrieved land from the custody of Pakistan Railways Police. Hundreds of armed men supported by Malir police attacked the retrieved godown and climbed its entrance gate.

An unprecedented situation happened as Railways’ and provincial police appeared in a direct face-off position with each other at the site. Pakistan Railways successfully thwarted the attempt as armed men were ejected from the warehouse in Jumma Goth.

The Divisional Superintendent Karachi Railways Arshad Salam Khattak terminated his ongoing visit of Port Qasim with the railways minister and reached the operation area along with his officers. Pakistan Railways has called help from Pakistan Rangers in order to deter any violence at the godown area.
