On the occasion of the International Day of Innocent Children Victims of Aggression, a prominent leader of Pakistani Shia scholars, Allama Syed Sajid Ali Naqvi, highlighted the severe realities faced by Palestinian children. He emphasized that in today”s world, no group is more exploited than the helpless children of Palestine.
Allama Naqvi described Gaza, Rafah, and the broader region as symbols of oppression, where imperialist and Zionist forces have unleashed ruthless brutality. It has exposed the true faces of those who, under the guise of democracy, have committed heinous acts of terrorism. Women, children, and the elderly have been primary targets, suffering under heavy bombardment and attacks carried out under the pretense of aid.
Expressing regret over the international community”s indifference, the religious scholar remarked that the cries of these innocent victims are falling on deaf ears. He criticized international leadership, stating that their consciences have become so numb that they ignore the pleas of these innocent lives.
Allama Naqvi painted a grim picture of Palestinian life, where children”s lives are shattered as they witness the destruction of their homes, the martyrdom of their parents, and the devastation of their communities. Displaced in their own land, many are forced into camps where they face hardships and hunger due to food blockades imposed by oppressive regimes.
He also condemned the use of tanks against those gathering for humanitarian aid, stating that such actions add to the existing suffering and create new waves of oppression. According to Allama Naqvi, the plight of Palestinian children is a painful reminder of the urgent need for global attention and intervention to alleviate their suffering.
