Woman beggar’s wheelchair and cash stolen in Larkana

LARKANA: The unrest in Larkana is still raging despite tall claims by the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) as the unknown thieves allegedly did not spare the disabled beggar woman.

According to the details, unknown thieves stole the wheelchair of beggar Yasmin Chandio, a disabled person living at the railway station within the limits of Larkana’s Dari police station, allegedly stole her wheelchair and money and escaped.

In this regard, Yasmin Chandio, told the newsmen that she live at the railway station Larkana, where she spend her life by begging in different areas of the city. She said that last night, she slept and left his wheelchair next to the bed. She said that when she got up, her wheelchair and Rs5,000 cash were missing, which the unknown thief stole and escaped.

She urged that DIGP and SSP Larkana to take notice of the matter and action against the thieves who did not even spare a retarded aged beggar woman. She demanded that justice should be done by returning the stolen wheelchair and the amount and earn her blessings.

This incident speaks high about the prevailing law and order situation in the entire Larkana district about reported and unreported criminal incidents despite claims by the police boss. People have demanded to post cops on merit and on performance basis ignoring political appointments and postings.
