A 23-year-old police constable was injured in a traffic accident on the city’s main thoroughfare, Chandrigar Road, on Thursday.
The officer was identified as PC Shams son of Abu Bakar, who was immediately transferred to a medical center for treatment after the collision.
Authorities confirmed that the matter falls within the jurisdiction of the Kharadar police station.
The relevant authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances of the incident. Further details have not yet been released.
