DALBANDIN: WAPDA Hydro Union, Sub Division, Dalbandin has demanded of the authorities to withdraw the decision regarding privatization of WAPDA. This demand was made in a protest demonstration held under the aegis of WAPDA Hydro Union, Sub Division, Dalbandin in Dalbandin area of Balochistan province on Thursday.
Addressing the protest demonstration, speakers said that labourers were united under the banner of WAPDA Hydro Union for their rights, adding that privatization of WAPDA at the behest of International Monetary Fund (IMF) was not acceptable to the employees of WAPDA at any cost.
Protest demonstration was addressed by Mir Shah Nawaz Raisani, Chairman, WAPDA Hydro Union, Sub Division, Dalbandin, Shah Wali Abid, former General Secretary, Zulfiqar Ali, Joint Secretary and others. Chanting slogans in support of their demands, protesters dispersed peacefully.
