QUETTA: A new political party with name of Balochistan Awami Party has been launched in Balochistan Thursday. Party manifesto and constitution would be announced at the general council meeting f party to be held in April and provincial and central office bearers would also be announced.
Announcing launch of new political party senator (R ) Saeed Ahmed Hashmi and provincial Spokesperson of party Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar said that party would frame policy for ending backwardness and equality with Federation. Whatever government is at the Centre we would not oppose it but would sit silent over our rights.
He also announced Senator Anwarul Haq Kakar as Central Spokesperson and Shiab Nosherwani as its provincial spokesperson.
Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, provincial ministers, Sarfraz Bugti, Prince Ahmed Ali, Amanullah Notezai, Dr Ruqiah Hashmi, Senator Naseebullah Bazai, SDana Jamali, Ahmed Khan Khilji, Babar Kohda, MPAs Mohammad Khan Lehri, Anita Irfan, Ghafoor Lehri, Shahzad Saleh Bhotani, Aurangzeb Khetran, Manzoor Kakar, leaders from different political parties were also present.
They said name of our party would be Balochistan Awami Party. Our colleagues were working on Party’s constitution and Manifesto. General Council would be convened in April and names of office bearers would be announced. Later party would be registered with Election Commission.
Saeed Hashmi said Balochistan would not fall prey to black mailing. Economic and political rights would be at top of our manifesto and no compromise would be made on them. We would fight for rights of people everywhere. Any government which comes at the Centre we would not oppose it but we would not remain silent over rights of Balochistan anymore. We would formulate a formula with Federation as not only cares for rights of people of Balochistan but would agree Centre practically.
He said form the platform of this party w would take part in coming elections. We would form council for distribution of tickets and council would award tickets on merit.
They said today is a new day for us. We want to give good news to the people of Balochistan that the way our elders Yusuf Magsi, Ghaus Bakhsh Raisani, Khan of Kalat, Nawab Khair Bakhsh Marri, struggled for securing rights of Balochistan we would also launch it afresh. They said our experience with mainstream parties is not good. We would announce party manifesto and constitution shortly and announced central and provincial leaders of party after convening general council.
Answering a question they said there can be differences in the party at the desire of Media but we are on one page. Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo provincial ministers and MPAs are with us and they would soon join the party.
Answering another question they said those terming us product of establishment elected in 2013 elections should review how they formed government after election.
