ISLAMABAD: In occupied Kashmir, a two-day strike is being observed from Thursday to register protest against New Delhi’s attempts to abrogate the Article 35-A of the Indian constitution.
Call for the strike has been given by the Joint Resistance Leadership. Article 35-A of the Indian Constitution prohibits non-permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir from permanent settlement in the state and from acquiring immovable property, government jobs, scholarships and aid there.
