KARACHI:Chairman Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) Ibrar ul Haq said several people died and thousands other affected due to outbreak of Corona-Virus in China but more worst thing is that no any vaccine currently available for treatment of this viral disease.
This he said while addressing a press conference at Karachi Press Club here on Tuesday. He said federal government in touch with Chinese government to get chemical used to diagnose Corona-virus as there was no chemical available in Pakistan to detect this viral disease.
He said PRCS has alerted the all provincial branches for preparedness to deal corona-virus like emergency situation in Pakistan and quick response units are being established in provincial centres. He said PRCS is also in contact with Red Crescent Society of China.
Ibrar ul Haq said training of volunteers will be conducted while awareness based guideline literature is also being prepared to cop up corona-virus like emergency situation. He said several Pakistan students and others were trapped in China and government is making efforts for their safe recovery.
