KARACHI:Sindh Rangers on Sunday claimed to have apprehended seven criminals, including three suspected target killers, from different areas of the metropolis.
According to rangers’ spokesman, the paramilitary soldiers carried out targeted raids in Saeedabad and Shershah areas and apprehended three suspected target killers, Muhammad Ali, Azeem Khan and Muhammad Ayoub. Ali was affiliated with Lyari gag war. The spokesman said that the arrested suspects were involved in target killing, robberies and drug peddling.
Separately, a rangers’ team detained MQM-London activist, Tofeeq Ahmed Khan during a raid in Garden area. He was involved illegal dealing of weapons, said rangers spokesman.
Meanwhile, during crackdown on street criminals in Shah Faisal Colony, Awami Colony and Jamsed Quarters, rangers nabbed three suspects. Rangers claimed that weapons, drugs and looted goods were also recovered from the possession of detainees.
