Karachi:Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Ehsan Mani has given assurance of full support to activities of Pakistan Veterans Cricket Association (PVCA).
A delegation of PVCA, led by the Chairman Fawad Ijaz Khan met Ehsan Mani at the National Stadium. Fawad briefed Mani about the Seniors, Veterans, Super Veterans and School Cricket organized regularly by PVCA.
Mani said he was aware of the activities of PVCA and fully appreciated the efforts and gave special praise for the Inter School Tournament regularly organized by PVCA.
Fawad presented the idea of Youth Development Program which PVCA can do in collaboration with PCB. Mani told PVCA officials that he will discuss with them once the new CEO of PCB takes charge in February 2019. Fawad also discussed with Mani about possibilities of inviting senior teams of other countries to tour Pakistan.
Mani also congratulated PVCA for the excellent performance in just concluded Veterans World Cup played in Sydney, where Pakistan reached the final.
PVCA delegation included PVCA Directors Nadeem Omar, Alamgir Ahmed, Salman Sarwar Butt, Ejaz Faqih, Shariq Hasib, Amjad Islam and senior member Brig. (Retd.) Salahuddin.
