KARACHI: The new academic year at Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology (SSUET) has started today with an impressive orientation session at its campus.
According to the university statement on Tuesday, the students admitted to different disciplines of engineering for the Batch 2020were provided with the vision and academic guidance at the Orientation session prior to start of regular classes.
Centre for Guidance Counselling and Placement conducted a series of transition seminars for the students of new batch who were invited with their parents to attend the session.

The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Vali Uddin extended useful suggestions to the students for achieving honours in the academic field. He said, “Sir Syed University carries the name of the great visionary Sir Syed Ahmed Khan and it provides quality education to the students and trained them with engineering skills to face the challenges of life.
Speaking on the auspicious occasion, Convener, CGCPP (Centre for Guidance, Career Planning and Placement), Siraj Khilji said, “You are starting a new phase of your life and this is the time for you to focus on your career and to develop and improve your moral and professional life without wasting time. Try to get education with positive approach for bright future. Registrar Syed Sarfraz Ali reminded students of their responsibilities with stress on the element of punctuality, proper dressing, and good behavior.
