ISLAMABAD:President of Pakistan Dr Arif Alvi will confer Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce and Industry 7th Achievement Awards for the year 2019 on Thursday.
Up to forty recipients for rendering meritorious services in different sectors will participate in a pompous ceremony at Aiwan-e-Sadr.
President FPCCI Eng. Daroo Khan Achakzai said that the decision was taken at a meeting in Islamabad today, which was chaired by United Business Group Central Chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik.
Addressing the ceremony, he said these awards are given on annual basis to private sectors in recognition of their contributions in export and other sectors.
He stressed the need to carefully channelize resources to benefit both business community and people of Pakistan. He said that the Industrialists need to come up with viable projects that result in creation of new jobs for both men and women.
The award will be given to whom who performed outstandingly in different fields of life including Skill Development, Energy, Finance, Industry, Exports, Education, Investment, Women Empowerment, Tourism and Hospitality, Construction and Consumer Goods etc.
