QUETTA:A ‘Youth and Sports Festival’ under the aegis of Frontier Corps Balochistan was held at Killa Saifullah on Friday.
Inaugural ceremony was attended by members of National Assembly, Provincial Assembly, officers of civil administration, officers of FC, students from different education institution and large number of citizens.
Inspector General Frontier Corps Balochistan Major General Fayyaz Hussain Shah attended the function as a chief guest.
Addressing the inaugural ceremony, he said that excitement and enthusiasm of people in the youth and sports festival testified that brave people of Balochistan were united against anti-state elements and were ready to render any kind of sacrifices for maintaining law and order situation.
He said that Frontier Corps Balochistan is giving the youth of Killa Saifullahan opportunity of healtht entertainment through Youth and Sports Festival. He said, “We will have to show to the world that our youths are capable and patriotic.” He said renovation work, Internet facilities and digital libraries will soon be set up in Polytechnic College, Khanozai and Muslim Bagh. He said that construction work of FC Public School Killa Saifullah had been completed where more than three hundred students (male and female) were studying.
