Police in Okara today successfully arrested a long-sought fugitive Waris, also known as Waresi, who was wanted in two murder cases and had been evading authorities for the past four years.
The arrest was made during a focused operation led by SHO Muhammad Akhtar Khan of Sadar Police Station. Authorities stated that the strategic deployment of modern technical equipment significantly aided in the arrest.
Waris was the main accused in two separate murder cases and had been living in hiding for a long time, evading law enforcement agencies, which ended with this recent police action.
The District Police Officer (DPO) lauded the exemplary efforts of the police unit and praised their dedication. The DPO emphasized that operations targeting individuals involved in serious crimes would continue relentlessly to uphold legal requirements and ensure justice.
