DUKI: One FC sepoy was killed and three other personnel injured in the firing of unidentified armed men in Thekadar Nadi Zinda Pur area of district Duki in Balochistan province on Monday.
According to police, unidentified armed men attacked check post of Frontier Corps set up for security of coal mines in Thekadar Nadi Zinda Pur area of district Duki.
Personnel of FC deployed in the check post retaliated and sought quick response force of FC. As soon as Quick Response Force of FC reached the site, armed men opened fire on their vehicle, killing sepoy of FC namely Bilal on the spot and causing injuries to three other personnel of FC namely Sepoy Shahzad, Lance naik Qayyum and Lance naik Asmatullah.
The injured personnel of FC were rushed to Civil Hospital Duki where after providing initial treatment, the injured were referred to Loralai for further treatment.
