QUETTA: Chief Minister Balochistan Mir Sarfraz Bughti on Monday said murderers of innocent Pakistanis deserve no favour.
These views were expressed by him while chairing the 16th meeting of Apex Committee at Chief Minister’s Secretariat to review law and order situation in the province, anti smuggling measures and repatriation of illegal immigrants. He said that peaceful Balochistan was the guarantor of stable Pakistan, adding “War against terrorism is not the war of army against “Sarumchar” rather it is the war of all of us”. He said that those who had raised the guns against the state would be dealt with strictly, however, we would go to the homes of angry Baloch.
Bughti said that positive direction for good governance was being determined, adding that the fruition of good governance would reach to the people in five to six months. He said all would have to play their due role for good governance. Apex committee reviewed projects under CPEC and foolproof security of Chinese nationals. Committe decided to expedite operations of anti-smuggling, including thwarting the smuggling of sugar, fertiliser and diesel, apart from making a decision to prevent the smuggling of non-customs paid vehicles from border areas of the province. Statistics of illegal immigrants repatriated to their respective countries were presented in the meeting.
Meeting was attended by Commander 12 Corps, Quetta, Lt General Rahat Naseem Ahmed Khan, Provincial Minister for Home, Mir Ziaullah Langove, Additional Chief Secretary (Home), Home and Tribal Affairs Department, Zahid Saleem, Inspector General of Police, Balochistan, Abdul Khaliq Sheikh and others.
