Lanjar orders arrest of security guard involved in dispute with foreign delegates

Sindh Home Minister Zia-ul-Hassan Lanjar today ordered an immediate arrest of the security guard involved in a dispute with foreign delegates at Site A Police Station.

According to a statement issued from the Sindh Home Ministry, Mr Lanjar emphasized the need for an audit of security companies providing protection to Chinese experts and foreign nationals to assess their performance and security arrangements. He stressed that it is essential to ensure both the physical and mental fitness of guards assigned to such critical security duties.

Furthermore, the Home Minister stated that only well-trained and fully fit security guards should be employed for such responsibilities. He also directed that the audit report of these security companies be submitted for review promptly. He also ordered a crackdown on unregistered and illegal security companies.
